Lock any Mac app behind Touch ID. Shoo! fully closes it until you unlock. $17.99 once, no subscription, 7-day free trial.
Shoo! is an app locker for Mac. macOS has no built-in way to lock a single app, so anyone at your unlocked Mac can open Mail, Messages, Notes or your browser with one click.
Shoo! ends the locked app's process and starts it again only after Touch ID, Apple Watch or a private backup password succeeds. It does not draw an overlay on top of a running window, so nothing is visible or running while an app is locked. Your Mac's login password never unlocks it.
- Pick the apps you want protected; unlock with Touch ID or Apple Watch
- Separate backup password for Macs without Touch ID
- One-time price of $17.99, no subscription, 7-day free trial with full functionality
- Never reads the content of the apps it locks
