Cardhop

Cardhop replaces the Contacts app with a single search field. Type a name to find someone, or type "email Jane", "call Dad", or "Sarah birthday June 3" and Cardhop performs the action or edits the card. It is contact management that works the way you think about people.

Why it makes the list

From the Flexibits team behind Fantastical, Cardhop brings the same natural-language approach and the same finish to a corner of macOS almost everyone ignores. It surfaces upcoming birthdays, flags duplicates and stale info, and makes bulk cleanup of a messy address book genuinely quick.

Standout features

• Natural-language parser for adding, editing, and acting on contacts

• Verbs — email, call, message, or open a map straight from search

• Menu-bar window for a fast lookup from anywhere

• Upcoming birthdays and events at a glance

• Duplicate detection and cleanup tools

• Custom fields, templates, and printable formats

Pricing

Free to use. Flexibits Premium (subscription) unlocks the full parser, customization, and cross-device features, and also covers Fantastical.
